• No sensor or additional products needed, just grab your phone and go.
• Get in-ear cheers from your friends on Facebook and Path when you broadcast that you’ve started a run. Tag the Facebook friends who you ran with and share a map of your route with friends and family.
• Have a song that gets you pumped? Set up PowerSongs to give yourself a boost with the tap of a button.
• Syncing your run to the Nikeplus.com website allows you to view your maps on a larger Screen, Set a new goal, and find Nike+ Top Routes in your area. Check it out.
• Localized app language support in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
• Some features such as Share Run and Cheer Me On require users to be connected to a wireless network for full functionality. Note that iPod touch does not support GPS functionality. Also, please note that continued use of GPS running in the background could dramatically decrease battery life.

Last update did nothing to help.
Last update did not help at all. Whatever you do, do not lock your iPhone screen or switch to a new app while running. Nike plus will stop counting distance and show you ran a fraction of what you actually ran. I was really waiting for this update and I am very disappointed. After several devoted years using Nike Plus, I will now delete it and find another running app.

WARNING TO THOSE CONSIDERING THIS APP Calibrate runs - epic product fail and a deal breaker
I am sorry I have to write this Nike - but I have logged 2435 miles on your app, the problem is I have really run 2732 miles. I have contacted you for over a year asking then begging the capability to always be able to calibrate (accurately record) actual mileage on the app. I thought you listened and fixed this, but yet again the other day - you let me down. While I love this app and would even be willing to pay for it (and maybe even think about Nike products) this relationship is now over. There are way too many better options at the end of the day, and problem that I see so many people have seems to be ignored by the programmers. Good bye Nike ( and I can't even export my run data by the way!) - let me know if you ever get yourself together and fix this one little issue that would make so many happy. a warning to those who would consider this app, it is simple design, good design, easy to use but if you care about accuracy and peace of mind - DO NOT ENTER A RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS APP - you will regret it. Consider, runtastic, runkeeper, map my run...etc many other options that will give you the power to track runs the way YOU need to.

New update makes app useless for me
After updating, every time I use the app it stop monitoring my distance in the middle of my run. It's depressing when u know u ran over 4 miles but app only registering 2 miles. The only thing works is the clock which makes it even worse. Because according to the app u r slower. Hope this get fix pretty soon, I've been using this app for over 2 years and I would hate to switch to something else.
