-------------------------

Where will the Sun rise and set today? Is there a Full Moon tonight? Where is the constellation Orion? Am I looking at a bright star or a planet? What are some fun facts about these objects?

SkyView is powerful, easy-to-use, and answers these questions and more. Simply point the camera to the sky, tap on what you see and discover neat things about these sky objects. SkyView is unique as it blends the camera view with incredible 3D graphics of the sky objects to provide an Augmented Reality (AR) view of your sky.

FEATURES:

★ Innovative New iPad Interface
SkyView’s new iPad interface minimizes hand movement, making it easy to hold and point your iPad toward the sky whether you're sitting, standing, or even lying down. Simply hover over an object in the sky with the reticle (the small white circle in the center of the display) and press the target button near your right thumb to select it (we support left-handed mode also!).

★ Share the Universe with Your Friends and Family
Now when you see something exciting you can quickly take a snapshot of the universe and send it to others on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more.

★ Sky Paths for the Sun, Moon, Planets, and Pluto too!
Select the Sun, Moon, or a planet and see its path through the sky for a 24-hour period. Move the camera along this path and see when and where this object will be compared to your horizon.

★ Change the Date and Time
Travel to the future or the past and see the sky on different dates and times!

★ Amazing 3D Graphics
Surround yourself with beautiful 3D graphics of the Sun, Moon, planets, stars, constellations, and satellites as you point the camera to the sky.

★ Stars and Constellations
Stargazing has never been so easy! Just aim and tap the screen to identify hundreds of stars!! Find your favorite constellations as they fade in and out of the camera view.

★ Satellites
View the brightest objects orbiting Earth including the International Space Station, Hubble Space Telescope, and even rocket bodies! SkyView automatically retrieves current satellite orbital data (when available) so that your satellite viewing stays accurate!

★ Search and Locate
Looking for the ISS? Trying to find the North Star? Want to witness a satellite flyby? Use the search feature to select an interesting object and then simply follow the arrow to find its location in the sky.

★ Lots of Interesting Facts
SkyView has thousands of fun facts about our universe. Just touch an object in the sky and discover!

★ Augmented Reality (AR)
SkyView accurately blends and animates 3D images of objects in the sky within the camera’s view no matter what direction you are pointing. This allows you to see distant objects such as Pluto up close and personal.

★ It Works Anywhere
No data connection is required to run SkyView! Take it camping, boating, or even flying.

What a fun way to teach yourself, your children, your students, or your friends about our wonderful universe!

Exciting and beautiful
I adore this app. I've never been able to differentiate stars from constellations, but with enough time this app has made me appreciate the stars more than I already did. So, yes, five TRILLION stars.

AllFlapNoFly on April 21, 2013:
Awesome App
A family fun event. It is so amazing people ask if it is real. We enjoy watching the international Space Starion as it flies overhead. Have used the app for a couple years now. Never have tired of it. Can spend hours with my kids looking and discussing what is out there.

Swampfoxky on March 12, 2013:
